Job Summary

Sotavento Medios is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites that align with our clients' needs and enhance their online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of SEO metrics and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, PHP, and Python.
• Implement web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Optimize websites for SEO, including schema implementation and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web applications and hosting environments.
• Manage hosting environments on Ubuntu, Windows, and Linux OS.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in web development.
• Proficient in WordPress, PHP, Python, and the Laravel framework.
• Familiarity with SEO metrics, schema implementation, and web optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of different operating systems: Ubuntu, Windows, and Linux OS.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
