Project Manager/ Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Jurukur Kinetic, a licensed land surveying company in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a talented Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing and managing surveying projects from commencement to completion, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Preparing, monitoring, and checking project schedules, survey drawings, forms, letters, and related documents required for submissions to authorities and clients.
• Monitoring and verifying the accuracy of survey drawings and technical data.
• Ensuring compliance with industry quality standards.
• Meeting contractual performance metrics and tracking work progress on a daily basis.
• Preparing internal and external reports regarding the status of projects.
• Taking initiative and resolving issues as they arise.
• Liaising with clients, surveyors, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
• Undertaking other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Geographical Science, Geomatic, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in the field.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, surveyors, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
• Practical knowledge of applicable technical laws, standards, regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures within the industry.
• A meticulous and well-organized approach to work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Required skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Extra Points When We Assess Your Application

• Current experience in a licensed land surveying firm is preferred.
• Specialized expertise in land and strata title, engineering, topographical surveying, pre-computational methods, or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge in quoting, bidding, tendering, and using e-Perolehan.
