Job Summary:

  • Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.

Key Areas and Responsibilities:

LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION

  • Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
  • Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
  • Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements;
  • Allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • To set budgets and targets and to monitor the company's performance
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure that projects are completed by deadlines, streamline processes to maximize productivity
  • Should provide guidance and strong leadership on strategy, business planning as well as day-to-day operations
  • Able to forecast trends and potential market opportunities.

COMMUNICATION

  • Encourage and train staff in a manner that results in high performance and general growth of the company. In addition, the Business, it must be able to effectively mentor staff members to help them achieve set outcomes.
  • Coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
  • Focusing on any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
