Finance Manager - GH
Our client is seeking a professional to oversee the consolidation and management reporting functions, manage the full range of accounting activities, and prepare and analyze financial and management accounts.
Job Description:
- Oversee the consolidation and management reporting functions in compliance with MAS requirements.
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial and management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervise and monitor financial reporting, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost-saving controls.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, best practices in finance and accounting, taxation requirements, and local regulations.
- Participate in compliance control and risk management activities.
- Liaise with external auditors, company secretaries, and tax agents.
- Support the implementation of financial policies and systems.
- Aid in forecasting and budgeting exercises, monitor actual performance against forecasts, and investigate variances.
- Handle additional ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in securities, broking, or asset management.
- Strong commitment to work and a sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
- Ability to work independently with a high-performance orientation.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Objective and task-oriented.
