AVP, Financial Reporting - Banking/ Securities

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and proactive Financial Reporting Associate to be part of our finance team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting duties including journals input, bank and broker reconciliations, fixed assets, payments, client money segregations and Risk-Based Capital (RBC)
• Assist in preparation of regulatory reporting such as MAS Forms, GST Returns and Corporate Tax Return
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Contribute to accounting system development and the automation of daily postings
• Assist with various ad hoc accounting assignments as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in audit or a securities firm
• CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in handling regulatory reporting such as MAS Forms, GST Returns and Corporate Tax Return is preferred
• Experience with a MAS Capital Markets Services (CMS) Licensed entity is preferred
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Eager to learn, self-driven, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment
